It's time for change. Are you up for it?

Rich Darby,
Chief Operating Officer
What do you think would happen if you stepped out of your comfort zone and did something different than what "you have always done?"

We have come across many situations where families want certain memorials for their loved ones, but the cemetery doesn't allow them. When I hear these stories, it breaks my heart. This is a great example of why our industry needs to change old habits and start focusing on the families we serve.

Families want to express the unique passions of their loved ones. They want to tell the story of their life. We need to step outside of the box, and give our families what they want and not just what we are used to selling.

If you've been thinking about taking a step in a new direction, please give us a call at 800.798.4900. As experts in change, we are willing to help you walk through all of the unknowns.

Tell their story in color

Linda Darby,
Chief Executive Officer

When at a graveside service, have you ever seen a beautifully designed graphic on a burial vault? So beautiful that you can feel the love and thought that went into the design?

The other day, my siblings and I were in a meeting with a gentleman who had just lost his mother. On her burial vault he had created a graphic that truly represented her life. It was filled with images and names of their family. It was one of the finest tributes I have seen in a while.

A family values a burial vault graphic because it helps tell the story of their loved one's life. It brings the story all of the way to their final resting place. Did you know you can continue telling that story with a beautiful design above ground as well? Trigard Memorials can tell the story on a bronze memorial with detailed images and Brilliant Impressions® full color.

Want more information about adding pictures and color to your next memorial? Call our Customer Service team at 800.798.4900.

Ashes, cremated remains or something else?

Jeff Miller,
Vice President of Business
Development
When helping a family who has chosen cremation, how do you refer to the cremated body? Ashes? Cremains? While the industry preferred term is cremated remains, to a family it is still their mother or father, aunt or uncle or husband or wife. It is their loved one.

Families who have chosen cremation care about their loved ones just as much as families who choose traditional burial. When talking with a family, would you ever refer to a traditional burial as "casketed remains?"

Cremation and burial both involve the body of a cherished family member. When you place the same level of importance and value on both types of services, your business will grow.

We understand that part of growing is offering innovative products that appeal to families who choose cremation. We are constantly striving to create new products that will meet the needs of your families. That is why you will see our new Cremation Memorial at the upcoming ICCFA Convention and Expo in Las Vegas. It is the latest addition to our cremation memorialization product line.

For more information about our cremation products, call our Customer Service team at 800.798.4900.

Displays that make you go 'Whoa'

Ethan Darby,
Logistics Manager
Companies around the globe are all focused on the same keywords: smaller, thinner and sleeker. Whether it is technology, manufacturing or another industry, consumers are beginning to associate these keywords with innovation and progressiveness. Our wall displays are not traditional. They are simple and concise, and that is what makes them "pop."

Trigard's display systems never cease to amaze me. We recently had the pleasure of installing memorial wall displays at five different funeral homes. With every installation, I would take a step back and it made me realize how lucky we are to have such a talented and hardworking marketing team who creates materials that have great impact. If you're not using our tools, you're missing out.
Not only do our wall displays make valuable sales tools, but we can also customize them to meet your sales needs. For more information, give our Customer Service staff a call at 800.798.4900.
